You may ask why FotoFling ?

As I am proud of my Scottish birth, often wear the kilt and take too many photos at Highland Games than is good for my health I felt that I needed a nick/brand name for my photo work that captured a hint of tartan and Scotland. Photo became 'foto' and 'fling' came from highland fling - the link to highland games. 'Scotland' was then added to heighten the link.



Why the kilt?

Why not. Thousands of Scots don the kilt to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year. The kilt has never been so popular than it is today. Worn by men of all ages for weddings, parties, rugby, football, Burns suppers, ceilidhs, balls, receptions, pubbing - and, even for many, worn for work. Many guys lack the confidence to wear the kilt with pride and need an excuse - but no excuse is needed - it can be worn anywhere for almost any activity.
